What is the Cost Management Dashboard and how to navigate it?

The Cost Management dashboard is a central space which provided the Cost overview data for a facility.

This is what a typical cost management dashboard look like:

There are three main sections of the Cost Management dashboard:

Section 1

Overview, providing a high-level cost data of the facility.

The Main headings are:

  1. Projected Savings: Estimated Savings Target set for the annual year.

  2. Closed Project Savings: Actual savings realized upon the completion of a project, compared to initial cost estimates or budgets.

  3. Carry Over: The Savings brought forward from the last year’s target.

  4. Slippage: Delays or postponements in project timelines, leading to deferred costs.

  5. Variance: The difference between planned or budgeted costs and actual costs, highlighting the deviations in expenditure.


Section 2

Search & Filter Criterion, providing various options to search the database for cost data.

The More button shows all options available to filter the database for cost results.

Based on the requirements, users can apply various filters and obtain specific results for analysis.


Section 3

Projects Overview, providing cost data in terms of projects inside a facility.

This section has two tabs or sub-sections: Hard Savings Project & All Saving Projects.
