Every module in LeanSuite has its own dashboard and parent menu. The parent menu holds the module's main options.
To reach the Best Practice parent menu, select the Best Practice option on your LeanSuite home page.
Parent menu
The Best Practice parent menu (dark blue background) has four main options:
Best Practice (Dashboard): opens the Best Practice dashboard.
Best Practice Report: opens the reports (analytics) section, with the Overview and Benefit & Cost tabs.
Best Practice Settings: opens the Best Practice settings.
Approval Dashboard: opens the approval dashboard.
Best Practice Settings
The Best Practice Settings page has four tabs: Best Practice Type, Best Practice Mapping, Steps Settings and Business Line.
On the Best Practice Type tab, each type is listed with delete (bin) and edit (pencil) icons, and + Add New adds a type.
Approval Dashboard
The Approval Dashboard opens with the Open filter applied. It offers:
Search by Id and title, Filters and Group By
the column settings and refresh icons
the Table and List views
the Excel icon to export
Parent menu while creating a Best Practice
Tip: A Best Practice works like a Kaizen. When you open the Create New Best Practice window, the parent menu changes to match the Kaizen State 1 parent menu. This gives you quick access to the settings you need when creating a Best Practice. To learn more, see Navigating inside the parent menu in the Kaizen module.
Right-side panel
When you select an option in the parent menu, it opens in the right-side panel (white background). The selected option is highlighted in the menu to show that it is active.
The right-side panel holds all the details of your Best Practices, from their information to the editing options. You use it to add, edit, navigate and progress a Best Practice.
