Edit user re-assignments in F-Tag

Turn on re-assignment tracking and set how many times an F-Tag can be reassigned before it locks.

Limit how many times an F-Tag can be reassigned, so issues are resolved on time.

What are user re-assignments?

A user re-assignment happens when an F-Tag is sent back or passed from one assignee to another.

When an important issue needs urgent attention, every re-assignment costs time. The delay can hold up the fix and make the problem worse.

Limiting re-assignments cuts back-and-forth and helps your team resolve issues on time.

Note: When a tag reaches the limit, reassignment is locked and the manager is notified.

Steps

1. In the F-Tag parent menu, select Tag Settings. For an overview, see About Tag Settings.

2. Select the General Configuration tab at the top.

3. Make sure the toggle next to Track User Re-Assignments is turned on. Turn it off if you want to stop tracking re-assignments.

4. In the Counts section, use the + and - buttons to set the number of times a tag can be reassigned.

5. Click Save.
