After you submit an F-Tag, you can edit its information as the tag progresses.
Who can do this: you need permission to edit an F-Tag's title and Tag Type. Administrators can lock editing at certain statuses in the Workflow builder.
An F-Tag collects information through its fields when it is created. This information is stored with the F-Tag and can be seen from the dashboard. There are two types of information you can edit.
Edit properties information
Properties information is entered when the F-Tag is created. It covers the core information, such as the problem, recommendation, pillar, department and labels. For how this information is entered, see Create an F-Tag.
Edit it in the side window, or in the Details and Implementation sections of the F-Tag detail view. See About the F-Tag detail view.
Edit attached information
Attached information is added to the F-Tag after creation. It covers files, sketches, photos and other data. For how to attach information, see Attach information and data to an F-Tag.
Edit it in the side window, or in the Implementation section of the F-Tag detail view.
Good to know
You can update the tag's title and its Tag Type directly on the view page, if you have permission.
You can add and update Tag Labels on the view page.
If editing is locked in a particular status, your workflow may not allow changes at that stage. Administrators set this in the Workflow builder.
Note: the status is one of the most important pieces of information on an F-Tag. See About F-Tag statuses.
