About the Kanban Board

See your activities as cards in Overdue, In Progress, Upcoming and Submitted columns, and start them from the board.

Written by Angad Singh

The Kanban Board shows the activities in your facility as cards in a kanban layout, so you can see what is overdue, in progress, upcoming and submitted.

It is the third option in the Daily Standard Work (DSW) menu, after Overview and Schedule Calendar.

This is what a typical Kanban Board looks like:

Daily Standard Work Kanban Board with Overdue, In Progress and Upcoming columns and activity cards with Start buttons

Activities Bar

The Kanban Board has two building blocks: the Activities Bar and the swimlanes.

Use the Activities Bar to choose the category of activities you want to see on the board: My Activities, My Team's Activities or Facility Activities.

On the right, use Filters, Group: Status and Sort: Event Start to arrange the cards, and the refresh icon to reload them.

Swimlanes

The board has four columns (swimlanes): Overdue, In Progress, Upcoming and Submitted. Each column header shows how many activities it holds.

Scroll down a column to see all of its activities.

Each card shows:

  • the activity type (for example Standard Work · Audit)

  • the title

  • the date and time

  • the assignee

  • a Start button

Tip: You can start an activity or view a submitted report directly from the Kanban Board.
