Choose which fields appear on the Create F-Tag form, rename them and make them required.

Important: before you start, follow the steps in Create an F-Tag until the Create F-Tag window is open.

Steps

1. In the top-right corner of the Create F-Tag window, click Show Fields.

The F-Tag Fields Management window opens.

2. Set up the fields using the five columns:

Column 1

Order

Reorder the fields.

Column 2

Show/Hide

Choose which fields are shown or hidden on the form.

Column 3

Fields

Lists all the fields available when you create an F-Tag.

Column 4

View Value

Give a field a display name other than its default name (for example, rename Trade Type to "Issue category").

Column 5

Required?

Choose which fields are mandatory, so every tag collects the data your team needs.

3. Click Apply in the bottom-right corner to apply the settings to the Create F-Tag window. A green confirmation message appears.

4. Fill in the newly visible fields and submit your F-Tag.

Good to know

  • Field settings are synchronised in real time for all users in the facility.

  • All Tag Types share one form. You can't set different fields for each Tag Type.
