Creating a quiz in the LMS has two parts:
Add a new quiz. See Add a new quiz.
Build the quiz by adding its questions and settings. This article covers this part.
Note: A quiz can't be enrolled in or taken on its own, so it doesn't appear in the Course Catalog. A quiz is added to a course as an evaluation.
Find your quiz
Once you add a quiz, it appears in the Instructor Panel.
It also appears on the All Quizzes dashboard.
You can open the quiz you want to build from either place. For an overview of the Instructor Panel, see About the Instructor Panel.
Build a quiz

1. Go to the Instructor Panel or the All Quizzes dashboard and find the quiz you want to build.
2. Click the quiz to open the Quiz Creation window.
The Quiz Creation window has three phases where you enter the quiz information, questions and properties.
3. Complete all three phases.
4. Click Publish at the top right to make the quiz available in your workspace.
Tip: You can keep refining a quiz over time before you publish it.
Quiz settings and question types
Question types: multiple choice, short answer, true/false, and drag and drop. Short-answer questions are graded manually by the instructor.
Time limit: you can set a time limit for the quiz.
Grading: you can set the quiz with no passing mark ("do not grade").
Good to know
Build the quiz before the course, so it's ready to add when you create the course. Then build the learning plan.
