Reset or change your password

Reset a forgotten password with a verification code, change your password, or have an admin reset it.

Written by Angad Singh

You can reset a forgotten password yourself with a verification code, change your password from your personal settings, or ask an admin to reset it for you.

If you forgot your password

  1. On the login page, click Forgot password.

  2. Enter the email address on your account and submit.

  3. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for an email containing a verification code.

  4. Back on the reset form, enter the code in the Verification code field. It's at the top of the form, next to the email field.

  5. Enter your new password, confirm it, and click Submit.

Note: If you log in with a username or Employee ID only and have no email address on your account, ask your admin to reset your password for you.

If you know your password and want to change it

  1. Click your name in the top right corner.

  2. Open Personal settings.

  3. Open Password, enter your current password and the new one, and save.

For admins: reset a user's password

Who can do this: Admins with access to Admin Settings → User Management.

  1. Click the gear icon (top right) and open Admin Settings → User Management.

  2. Find the user. Make sure it's the right person before you reset.

  3. Reset the password and share the temporary password with the user.

  4. The user will be asked to set a new password the next time they log in.

Troubleshooting

  • The reset email never arrived: check your spam folder and confirm you're using the email address on your account. If it still doesn't arrive, ask your admin to reset your password.

  • You can't find where to enter the code: it goes in the Verification code field at the top of the reset form.

  • The Submit button doesn't appear: try a password without unusual special characters, or contact [email protected].

  • Your company uses SSO: your password is managed by your company's IT team, not by LeanSuite. Contact your IT helpdesk.
