Once the AI has analyzed your video, review its results, correct anything it got wrong, and certify the study. You can then use findings, scenarios and comparisons to improve the process.
Read the timeline
Each operator has a timeline of activities, color-coded by type and synced to the video:
Value-added (VA): work that changes the product.
Semi-value-added (SVA): necessary work that doesn't add value directly.
Non-value-added (NVA): waste.
Waiting and unobserved / off station: time the operator is idle or out of view.
Important: Gray (shaded) segments are skipped and not counted. Don't delete them expecting that to change the totals.
Edit the results
Double-click an activity to change its start and end time, description or classification.
Split an activity to give part of its time to another activity, or join activities together.
Add, copy or paste activities, or reassign one to a different operator.
Use the same wording every time for the same activity. The AI learns your terms.
After editing, click Recertify to recalculate the totals.
Certify the study
Certify a study once you're happy with it.
Certified studies become the AI's reference for future studies of the same process (matched by process label), including your terminology and how you classify activities.
For long videos, certify at a high level: correct the VA / SVA / NVA classifications. You don't need to re-time every activity.
For each new process, certifying a 10–15 minute clip is a good start.
To benefit from new certifications, run older videos again.
Findings and scenarios
Findings suggest improvements (eliminate, combine, rearrange, simplify) with the time they'd save. Convert a finding into a Kaizen with one click.
Scenarios: save alternative scenarios and compare the minutes and cost saved, using an hourly rate.
Compare studies
Select two or more studies and click Compare.
View by operator or for the full study. Choose Fit each study or Shared clock.
Click a category in the legend, such as VA, to show only that category. Click it again to reset.
Click Save comparison to keep it on your dashboard, where you can rename it.
Important: When comparing different cameras of the same area, make sure operator names match in each study.
