You can export most LeanSuite data to Excel, download reports for individual items, or connect other systems through the API.
Export to Excel
Most dashboards have an export button that downloads the current list, with your filters applied, as an Excel file. This includes Kaizen, EWO, Suggestions, Tags, Best Practice, Cost Management, LMS reports, KPI data and users.
Apply filters or a saved view first to export only what you need.
Long text fields, such as descriptions, may be shortened in exports.
Reports and submissions
Daily Standard Work: open a submitted item and click Download report.
Kaizen: use the PDF button on a project.
SOPs: download or print from Lean Creator.
Live dashboards instead of exports
If you're exporting to build a regular report, consider a Lean Studio dashboard. It stays up to date automatically and can be shared with leadership.
Connecting other systems (API)
LeanSuite offers an API for pulling data into other systems, such as a data warehouse or BI tool. Contact your LeanSuite representative for an API key and documentation.
