When a tag can't be fixed at the level where it was raised, you can escalate it to the next tier. This article explains how tiers work, how to escalate a tag, and how to build a queue for your tier.
How tiers work
Tier escalation moves a tag up when it can't be solved at the current level. For example, Tier 1 is the line team, Tier 2 is the department or maintenance, and Tier 3 is plant leadership. Your admin sets up the tiers and who belongs to each. Different tag types or departments can use different tier setups.
Escalate a tag
Open the tag.
Click Escalate. You can add a comment explaining why.
The members of the next tier get an email.
Tags can also be de-escalated back to a lower tier.
Build a queue for your tier
On the F-Tag dashboard, filter by escalation status, for example Tier 2.
Save the filter as a view and pin it.
Share the view with the rest of your tier.
You can also show escalated tags on a Lean Studio tier board. For more on views, see How to save, pin and share views on dashboards?
