About the Target section in Kaizen

Set a Kaizen's performance and financial target by entering KPIs and projected savings in the Target section.

Written by Angad Singh

The Target section helps you set a target for the Kaizen.

A target has two parts: KPIs and Savings. Together they let you quantify your target in terms of performance and finances.

Part

What it means

KPIs

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are measurable metrics used to evaluate how effectively an individual, team or organization is achieving key objectives.

Savings

Savings are the expected cost reductions, efficiency improvements, quality enhancements and potential revenue increases that result from the planned changes.

Each part has its own fields. Together they set a benchmark for the Kaizen, made of a performance measure and a cost factor.

Use the Target section

1. Add the Target section from the available list to the required phase. See Add or remove sections from Kaizen phases.

Note: a newly added section appears below the last section in the phase.

2. Expand the section by clicking anywhere in the section field, or on the arrow on the right side. You can also use the arrow to collapse the section.

The Target section has two sub-sections: Basic Details and Savings. Both are expanded by default. Use the arrow on the right of each heading to expand or collapse them.

3. Set the KPIs.

4. Set the savings targets.
