Every module in LeanSuite has its own dashboard and parent menu. The parent menu holds the main options that open in the dashboard.
To open the Skill Matrix parent menu, select Skill Matrix on your account home page.
Parent menu
The Skill Matrix parent menu (dark blue background) has six main options:
All Teams: opens the Skill Matrix team dashboard. See About the Team Dashboard.
Competency Update: opens the Competency Update page.
Gap Planning: opens the Gap Planning page. See Read the radar chart and plan skill gaps.
User Profile: opens your profile in the Skill Matrix. See About the User Profile.
Skill Matrix Reports: opens the reports (analytics) section. See About Skill Matrix reports.
Skill Matrix Settings: opens the Skill Matrix settings.
Competency Update
Use Competency Update to update competency levels in bulk:
Choose what to update by: Tools, Users, Kaizen Teams or Skill Matrix Teams.
Pick from Select Tool and Select Users.
Enter the Original, Current and Required levels.
Click Set For All to apply them to every listed user.
Skill Matrix Settings
Skill Matrix Settings opens its own menu with Competency Management and Skill Requirements.
Competency Management lists competencies with Search by Id and title, Filters and Add New.
The list has these columns:

Right-side expanded panel
When you select an option in the parent menu, it opens in the right-side panel (white background). This panel shows the details and further options for that part of the Skill Matrix.
The right-side panel updates as you select options in the parent menu.
The selected option is highlighted in the menu to show that it is active and open in the right-side panel.
Think of the right-side panel as the display in a control center: it shows information when you activate a control in the left menu.
All the detailed Skill Matrix data, from information to editing options, is in the right-side panel. It stays connected to the left menu and lets you add, edit, navigate and process your teams.
