The Best Practice Dashboard is the central place where all Best Practices are listed, so you can view, edit and progress them.
When someone creates a Best Practice, it is stored in LeanSuite, where it can be viewed, edited, analyzed and progressed. Your company may have hundreds of Best Practices created by many employees.
This is what a typical Best Practice Dashboard looks like:
What the dashboard does
Lists all created Best Practices.
Helps you find a Best Practice you submitted.
Filters Best Practices by specific criteria.
Exports the list with the Export Best Practices button.
Shows the status of each Best Practice with color-coded tags.
Dashboard columns
By default, the dashboard lists Best Practices under these column headings:
ID, Title and Lead Pillar
Slippage ($), Days to close and Days Delayed
State, Facility and Action
Depending on your setup, other columns such as Approach and Lead/Skill Trade may be available through the column picker.
The columns come from the fields you fill in when creating a Best Practice and from the options used to update it during implementation.
Display options
Two options in the top-right corner of the dashboard change how the list is displayed.
View (Table, List or Gantt): the default is Table, which shows all the column headings. List shows Best Practices as a list with less information. Gantt shows them on a timeline.
Page Size: choose how many Best Practices appear on each page. Pick one of the options or enter a custom number.
Note: LeanSuite data tables let you save a custom view with your selected filters applied, so you can return to the same results quickly. See Save, pin and share dashboard views.
