About the F-Tag dashboard

Learn how the F-Tag dashboard lists, filters, groups, displays and exports all F-Tags in your facility.

Written by Angad Singh

The F-Tag Dashboard is the central place where all F-Tags are listed and where you can view, edit and progress them.

When you create an F-Tag, it is saved to the database, where it can be viewed, edited, analysed and processed. A company using LeanSuite may have hundreds of F-Tags created by its employees.

Open the dashboard

Click Tag on your account home page. The dashboard opens as Tag Dashboard, the first option in the Tag menu.

At the top, tiles show Average days to close, Open, Overdue, Pending Verification and Most Active User.

The toolbar has:

  • a search box

  • Filters, Group By and Saved Views

  • a column settings button and refresh

  • the Table / List / Kanban switch

  • Export Tags

What the dashboard does

  • Lists all created F-Tags.

  • Helps you find the F-Tags you submitted.

  • Filters F-Tags by specific criteria, including Tag Labels.

  • Groups F-Tags by a chosen field with Group By.

  • Saves views with your filters applied, so you can reopen them without setting the filters again.

  • Opens an F-Tag in an overlay window for a quick overview.

  • Exports the data with Export Tags.

Dashboard columns

The dashboard shows F-Tags in columns. Some columns are general (such as ID and Title) and some are specific (such as Priority, Problem, Department and Tag Type).

The columns come from the fields you fill in when you create an F-Tag and from the fields updated while the tag is processed.

By default the table shows Tag ID, T-Title, Problem Description, T-Assignee, T-Approval Status, T-Priority, T-Pillar and Action.

Display options

Use the three options in the top-right corner of the dashboard to change how F-Tags are displayed:

Tip: In the Kanban Board view, tags are shown as cards in status columns. You can move a card to another column, for example from Open to Pending Verification, to update its status.
