Advance a Best Practice to its next stage or phase as work progresses. Advancing it to the last stage approves it.
Note: You can only advance a Best Practice from the Best Practice detail view.
Steps
1. Open the Best Practice you want to advance in the detail view. For help, see Open an existing Best Practice.
2. Click the Advance To button in the top-right corner to open its drop-down options.
3. Select an option from the drop-down menu.
Good to know
The options in the Advance To drop-down depend on the workflow attached to the Best Practice. The workflow's statuses, transitions and rules decide which options you see.
Workflow rules can control who is allowed to move a record and which conditions must be met first. If an option you expect is missing, check with your administrator.
Advancing a Best Practice to the last stage of its workflow approves it. After approval, you can share it with other facilities.
