How a Best Practice progresses
A Best Practice is a form of Kaizen. After it is created, it follows a systematic, phase-by-phase process, moving from one stage to the next until it reaches its goal.
While it is being implemented, a Best Practice works like a Kaizen. When a problem occurs often, the most effective Kaizen for that problem becomes the Best Practice for it.
What you can do
The Best Practice module gives you options to track and move a Best Practice forward, following the phases of the Kaizen methodology attached to it. You can:
Comment and follow its history in the Activity section.
Advance it through its workflow until it is approved.
Share it with other facilities once it is approved.
