After an F-Tag is created, it moves through stages that LeanSuite shows as its Status.
An F-Tag carries the information needed to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. After creation, it is submitted, implemented, verified or sent back, following what happens on the shop floor.
What happens after creation
Open the F-Tag from the dashboard to see and work on it. See Open an F-Tag after creation.
Understand its status. See About F-Tag statuses.
Operate the F-Tag through its stages until it is resolved. See Operate an F-Tag.
Add information along the way: comments, attachments and edits to the tag's information.
Good to know
Kanban Board: see all tags as cards grouped by status, and move a card to another column (for example from Open to Pending Verification) to update its status.
Tier escalation: if a tag needs more support, escalate it to another tier (Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3) with a comment. The members of that tier receive an email.
Pending Verification: an approver checks the work and completes the tag.
Convert to a Kaizen: if the workflow allows it, a tag in a Done status can be converted into a Kaizen. The original tag is kept.
