Find F-Tags on the F-Tag Dashboard by name or ID, or narrow the list with filters, Group By and Saved Views. This helps you find one F-Tag, or all F-Tags related to a topic, department or pillar.

Search by name or ID
Enter the name or ID of the F-Tag in the search box in the top-left corner.
Important: The search box only searches the ID and title (name) of F-Tags. To search by any other information, use filters.
Search with filters
Filters are criteria the dashboard uses to show matching results.
Click the Filter button next to the search box. A side window opens with fields you can filter by, such as Tag Labels.
Scroll through the window and set the fields relevant to your search.
Click Apply. The dashboard shows the matching F-Tags.
Reset and clear filters
When a filter is active, click the Filter button to see which filters are applied. From this drop-down you can reset all filters or remove any single filter.
Group F-Tags with Group By
The Group By button, next to the Filter button, groups F-Tags by a field such as pillar, implementor or priority. This helps you focus on the criteria that matter.
1. Click Group By. A side window similar to the filter window opens.
2. Choose a Group By option from the drop-down list.
3. Choose values in the second field that appears. It adds one more level of criteria inside the group.
Tip: the second field allows more than one selection, as shown in the picture. Click the options you want. To remove an option, click the cross icon to its left or click the option again.
4. Click Apply. The dashboard now shows collapsible groups based on your selection.
Collapse the groups to see all of them in the window, or scroll down to see every group.
Use the drop-down arrow to the left of each group, or click Collapse All/Expand All in the top-right corner for a quick overview.
The Group By button now shows the name of your selection (pillars in this example). Click it to open the side window and reset all filters to start again.
Save views
When you work with hundreds of F-Tags every day, applying the same filters again and again takes time, and you can lose the results you were working on.
Saved Views saves your filters so you can return to the same results later.
1. Click Saved Views, next to Group By, and select + Save View.
2. In the pop-up window, enter a name for your view and click Save.
3. To reuse the view, click Saved Views and select it from the list. The saved filters are applied.
Tip: use the pin icon to the right of a saved view to pin it. This makes a view easy to find when you have several.
Example: Saved views are useful for team queues. A Tier 2 team can filter the dashboard by escalation status, save the view, pin it and share it with the team.
Export your results
You can export your search results for analysis, documentation or tracking. See Export data from the F-Tag dashboard.
