Organize a template's questions into pages and sections in the Lean Creator Window.
When you create a new template, the Lean Creator Window opens with one page and one question by default. This is what a new Lean Creator Window looks like:
Pages and sections
The questions in a template are contained in pages and sections. A question can sit directly on a page, or inside a section on a page. The hierarchy is:
Top level: Page
Second level: Section
Third level: Questions and responses
A template can have several pages. On each page you can create one or more sections, or add questions directly.
Add questions to a page
1. Click Add Question in the bottom left of the page. In this example, three more questions are added to a page that had one question.
The page now has four questions.
The selected question is shown with a light blue background and extra options, which let you set its properties and edit it. In the image below, the third question is selected.
Add sections to a page
1. Click Add Section, next to the Add Question button.
A new section (in this example, Section 5) is added below the last question, with one question in it by default. Questions in a section work the same way; the section simply groups them.
There is no Add Section button inside a section, because a section is the lowest level. You can create several sections on a page, but you can't create a section inside a section.
2. Click Add Question inside the section to add more questions. In this example, the section now has three questions.

Use these options to add, organize, rename and delete pages and sections.
Add a new page
1. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Add New Page in the bottom left corner.
A new page (Page 2) is added, with one question by default. The Add New Page button is always at the bottom left of the window.
Collapse and expand pages
In templates with several pages, click the arrow at the right end of a page name to collapse or expand the page. The image below shows all pages collapsed.
Rename pages and sections
New pages and sections are numbered by default (Page 2, Section 3 and so on). To rename one, click its name and type the new name.

Reorder questions and sections
New questions and sections are added at the end by default. To move one, drag the reorder handle
on its left side to the place you want. This works for questions on a page, sections, and questions inside a section.

Delete pages, sections and questions
Click the delete button
in the far right corner of a question, section or page. The button is always visible for pages and sections, and appears for a question when you select it.
Preview window
The preview window on the right of the Lean Creator Window updates as you add pages, sections and questions.
It shows how the template will look to the person completing it, so you can check your work as you go.

The preview shows one page at a time. Scroll to the bottom of the preview and click Next Page to see the next one.
In this example, each question has a drag and drop box as its response. New questions use a default response type based on the template type chosen when the template was created; here the type is Assessment/Skill Matrix. You can change the response type of any question.
