What it helps you do
Cover absences: quickly see who else can run a job when someone is off.
Spot single points of failure: jobs that only one person is qualified for.
Plan cross-training: see where more people need to be trained, then assign training or on-the-job sign-offs.
How qualification is decided
Qualification is based on what each team requires:
the skill levels people have reached, for example after passing a linked course or practical assessment
the required procedures they have signed off
