From Lean Creator → Create with AI, you can build documents from a prompt, a video, images or your existing files, then edit them before saving.
The Create with AI button is on the All Templates page, next to Create Template.
Which mode should I use?
Mode | Give it | You get |
Video SOP | A video of the task. Narrating while you record improves the result. | A full SOP: purpose, scope, PPE, tools and materials, warnings, and numbered steps with a picture for each step |
OPL | Images, such as before and after photos. Say in your prompt which image is which. | A one-point lesson with acknowledgement questions |
Form | A description (for example "5S audit for our fab shop") or an existing form or procedure file | An audit, checklist, inspection, LPA or Gemba walk, ready to add rules to |
Combine Docs | Several SOPs or manuals | One combined, condensed procedure |
Tips for good results
Upload PDFs or images. Excel files with several sheets and some Word or PowerPoint files don't convert well, so save them as PDF first.
Don't paste long text. Attach it as a PDF instead, because long pasted text can time out.
Start a new AI session for each new document.
Give context. Tell the AI what the part or process is, for example "this is a rear window hinge". You can keep chatting to refine the result, for example "add a torque warning to step 6".
Choose the language in your prompt, for example "build this SOP in Spanish".
Note: Each run uses one input type. You can't combine a video and documents in a single run.
If something goes wrong
If generation stops with an error, go back and try again.
If generation times out, shorten your prompt, attach a smaller file, or start a new session.
What happens next
Everything the AI creates starts as an AI draft that only you can see.
AI drafts are listed in the AI Drafts row at the top of the All Templates page, with the number of questions, the type and how long ago they were made.
Review it, edit it and save it. See About AI drafts, drafts and published templates.
