With Create with AI in Lean Creator, you can turn a video of a task into a step-by-step SOP with a picture and a QR code for each step.
Before you record
Record the task from start to finish. Short videos of about 10–15 minutes work best for SOPs.
Narrate what you're doing if you can. It makes the step descriptions more accurate. Silent videos still work, because the AI follows the operator's hands.
Keep the work area clearly in view and reduce background noise.
Create the SOP
Go to Lean Creator → Create with AI and choose Video SOP.
Click the attach icon and select your video.
Optionally add a prompt with context, for example the part name or the language you want.
Submit.
Processing takes a few minutes depending on the video length. Large files are compressed automatically.
Review and edit
The Preview tab shows how the SOP looks on a phone or tablet. The SOP tab shows the printable document.
Click the pencil icon next to any section to edit it. Manual edits in Preview appear in the SOP view after you Save.
You can also chat with the AI to make changes, such as adding a warning or rewording a step.
To pick a better picture for a step, click Change and choose a different frame from the video.
Step QR codes
Each step gets a QR code. When someone scans it with the LeanSuite mobile app, the video clip for just that step plays.
Note: Users need to be logged in to watch the step video.

Page 1 of the printed SOP holds the purpose and scope, and the procedure starts on page 2.
