Make your checklists and audits react to answers. You can flag problem answers, ask follow-up questions, require photos, raise a tag, suggestion or Kaizen, and score audits against a pass mark.
Flag a response
In Lean Creator, open your template in Build and select a question.
Open Response properties.
Turn on Mark this response as flagged for the answers that indicate a problem.
Flagged answers are highlighted in the submitted report. They also appear in the Reporting view for that template and in Daily Standard Work reports.
Add a rule
Rules make the form react to an answer.
Select the question and click Add rule.
Set the condition, for example is False, > 22.3 or < 15.
Choose the action:
Ask a follow-up question, for example "Why wasn't this completed?"
Require evidence: a photo and comment must be added before submitting.
Start a Tag, add a Suggestion or start a Kaizen straight from the finding.
Notify someone.
A question can have more than one rule.
Tip: Put Require evidence on critical checks so they can't be ticked off without proof.
Score an audit
Select a question, open Response properties and turn on scoring.
Give points to each answer. Wrong answers can score 0.
Set the total and a pass mark, for example "fail below 20 out of 25".
Each submitted report shows the score and pass or fail.
Good to know
Number questions support minimum, maximum and default values. To act on out-of-range values, use a rule.
Starting a Kaizen from a finding needs at least one Kaizen project type and methodology set up (see Set up Kaizen project types, methodologies and templates).
Dropdown questions for Department, Line, Workstation or User use the lists your admin maintains (see How to set up departments, lines, workstations and assets?).
