Keep your Kaizen projects on track with action plans, the Gantt timeline, delay tracking and workload views. This article explains how to use each one.
Add actions
In a Kaizen, click More → Action Plan. You can have one plan per phase or one for the whole project.
Click Manage actions → Add new.
Enter the title, description, type (corrective or preventive), assignee and deadline.
Close the window.
Click the refresh icon to see your new actions.
Note: an action always belongs to a Kaizen. It isn't a separate item.
Gantt timeline
On the Kaizen dashboard, switch from Table to Gantt to see projects and their actions on a timeline, which ones are on track, and which are delayed.
You can filter by department, loss type and more.
Delays and revised due dates
The dashboard shows how many days a project is delayed, and how often its due date has changed.
If a due date needs to change, request a revised due date. Non-admins choose a reason. Requests may need approval, which appears on the Approval dashboard.
Export delay information to Excel for review.
Workload
Admins set working hours per user in the workload settings.
Project hours are spread across the project's timeline based on its methodology.
Use View team details to see who is overloaded before adding people to a project.
