LeanSuite rewards people for sharing ideas. Learn how suggestion points are earned and redeemed, how the leaderboard works, and what to check if points are missing.
Earning points
Your admin decides how many points are awarded. Typical rules give points when:
you submit a suggestion
your suggestion is approved
it is turned into a project (Kaizen), or delivers savings
Note: When approving a suggestion, the approver may be asked whether to assign points.
See the points for each status
Open Points in the Suggestion menu. The chart shows the points for the Submitter, Approver and Implementor at each status:
Pending Feedback
Not A Suggestion
Rejected
Approved
Pending Implementation
Implement Kaizen
Implemented
Your own total appears under your name at the top of the left menu.
Campaigns
Campaigns focus ideas on a specific problem and can award bonus points. Submit your idea to the campaign to take part.
Open Campaigns in the left menu to see them.
Example: A campaign called "Reduce waste on Line 1" collects ideas on that one problem.
Rewards
Points can be redeemed for prizes from your site's Prize Catalog (in the left menu). Prizes you have asked for appear under Requested Prizes.
Your site decides what's available.
Leaderboard and Wall of Fame
Top contributors appear on the Leaderboard (in the left menu) and Wall of Fame, which many sites show on screens on the shop floor.
My points are missing
Approval points are only added once the suggestion is approved.
Make sure the suggestion was submitted under your own login, not a shared account.
If points still look wrong, contact your site admin.

Who can do this: Admins set up point rules, the prize catalog and campaigns.
Configure point rules in Suggestion Settings (the Preferences page, with an Edit button), and set up the prize catalog and campaigns.
