Each suggestion status tells you what is happening to the idea, who it's waiting on, and what happens next.
Common statuses
The exact statuses depend on how your site has set up its workflow. These are the most common.
Status | What it means | Waiting on |
Pending feedback | The suggestion has been submitted and is being reviewed | The reviewer or approver |
Pending implementation | The suggestion is approved and needs to be carried out | The implementer |
Completed / closed as quick win | The idea has been done | No one |
Kaizen initiated | The idea became an improvement project | The Kaizen team |
Rejected / not a suggestion | The idea won't go ahead, or was a complaint or request rather than an idea | No one |
Where to see the status
A suggestion's current status appears as a colored chip under its ID in the details panel, for example Implemented Kaizen.
What reviewers can do
Approve and set the priority and pillar.
Add another approver, for example finance, or @mention people for their opinion.
Add an implementer, then mark complete or Initiate Kaizen.
Revert a suggestion to its initial state if needed.
Who can see my suggestion?
Submitters see their own suggestions. Reviewers and admins see the suggestions they're responsible for.
Troubleshooting
If Approve doesn't respond, refresh the page.
Note: You may also be missing the approval permission, so ask your admin.
