Move an approved suggestion to its next stage with the Mark As Complete button. The options in its drop-down decide what happens next.
Before you begin
The Mark As Complete button becomes available when a suggestion is approved (with Approve or Approve with Feedback).
Note: You can open the suggestion in the side window or the detail view. These steps use the detail view.
Steps
1. Open the approved suggestion.

2. Click Mark As Complete, next to the Approve button. A drop-down menu with 3 options appears.
3. Choose the option that fits:
Mark As Complete | The suggestion has been implemented and is complete. Use this for small suggestions that can be implemented quickly. |
Mark As Complete with Feedback | Same as Mark As Complete, with an extra feedback field. Use it to explain the implementation or completion to the person who created the suggestion. |
Initiate Kaizen | Use this when implementing the suggestion is a larger job that needs time and resources. The suggestion is turned into a Kaizen and tracked through Kaizen Management. This option connects the Suggestion System to the Kaizen module. See Initiate a Kaizen from a suggestion. |
Note: Depending on your facility's point rules, points can be awarded when a suggestion is approved or converted to a project, and for its financial impact. See Set suggestion points in Suggestion Settings.
