As we know 2 of the Approval Options (Approve & Approve with Feedback) trigger the availability of the next option i.e. Mark As Complete, the further stages of the suggestion are dictated by the options available inside the mark as complete drop-down menu.

The procedure to proceed a Suggestion after approval is different depending upon the user preference.
A user can choose to open a suggestion in the side window or detail view.
For this instruction we will open the suggestion in the detail view.
Follow the steps below to proceed a suggestion after approval
Step 1
Open the Suggestion you wish to proceed after approval.

Step 2
Click on the new Mark As Complete button next to the Approve button. A drop-down menu with 3 options will show up.
Step 3
The three options have different functions:
Mark As Complete | This option will indicate that the suggestion has been noted and implemented therefore it is complete. This option is useful when smaller suggestions are submitted and the same can be implemented quickly. |
Mark As Complete with Feedback | This option indicates the same as in Mark as Complete. It provides an additional feedback field where some explanation or information regarding the implementation or relating to the completion can be attached and notified to the user who created the suggestion. |
Initiate Kaizen | This option it the most important of the above three.
When the scale of implementation of a suggestion is large and the process requires time and resources the suggestion can be converted into a kaizen and can be monitores by the continuous improvement process i.e. Kaizen Management.
This option also serves as the connection between Suggestion System & kaizen Module. |
