Every Lean Creator template moves through three stages: AI draft, draft and published. Learn who can see a template at each stage, what you can do with it, and how to choose its visibility.
The three stages
Stage | Who can see it | What you can do |
AI draft | Only you | Edit with the pencil icons, chat with the AI, and change step pictures |
Draft (saved) | Others, depending on the visibility you choose | Review it before you publish |
Published | Others, depending on the visibility you choose | Assign it, schedule it, collect sign-offs, and edit with AI (tone, fix errors) |
Tip: Colleague can't see your SOP? It's probably still an AI draft. AI drafts are listed at the top of Lean Creator and are private to whoever created them. Save the draft to share it.
Saving a template
When you save, you choose:
Name.
Labels: type a label and click Add. Labels work like hashtags for finding and filtering templates, for example "SOP" or "5S".
Template type and pillar.
Visibility (see below).
Visibility options
Private (default): visible in your facility only.
Workspace: shared with all of your company's facilities.
Public: published to the LeanSuite Marketplace, where other companies can see and copy it.
Important: Don't use Public for internal SOPs or confidential documents.
Good to know
Start begins completing or signing the document. It isn't a preview.
Labels that look like buttons, such as "Published" or "Pending feedback", show status. They aren't actions.
Your templates are never shared with other companies unless you choose Public.
